Fallulah is the alter ego of the Danish-Romanian singer, songwriter and producer Maria Apetri.  As Fallulah, Maria has been part of the music scene in Denmark since she took everybody by storm with her debut album, ‘The Black Cat Neighbourhood’, in 2010. These days, she’s taken matters into her own two capable hands, releasing on her own label, La Boom Records.

Maria studied dance in New York at Broadway Dance Center at a young age before returning to Denmark to focus on music. Mixing Broadway with her Balkan roots, her take on indie pop gets a distinct flavour. Maybe not so dominant in her recent work, but it’s still there, woven together with forceful beats and playful vocals.
