The Boombox Hearts travels down a shadowy sideroad from the trail The Band blazed back at Big Pink, knee deep in americana, alt country and dark folk. Fronted by Ivan Petersen (ONBC, Oliver North Boy Choir), the band has been performing and recording on and (for periods mostly) off for years, on the most recent releases blending twangy dreampop into their otherwise dusty and gloomy take on alternative rock.
