Collection: SØSTR
SØSTR (almost Danish for ‘sister’) is a duo consisting of artist sisters Louise Foo (Giana Factory) and Sharin Foo (The Raveonettes). Their eponymous debut EP consists of genre-bending avant-pop, hell-bent on exploring the possibilities of modern production -- first single ‘Peace of Mind’ is also available in Dolby Atmos) -- but firmly rooted in traditional lyric-based songwriting. The core of their collaboration is singing together.
Thematically, the songs are rooted in their common background, shaped by their mutual and individual perspectives. They liken the experience to “the listener overhearing a confidential and intimate conversation between two sisters.”.
