The Mopeds

The Mopeds happen to be the most beautiful band in the world – and what’s even more beautiful: They were the first Swedish band to be signed to Crunchy Frog.

Their world class poptunes are catchy and crooked and just makes you wanna dance and have a ball. This is intelligent pop with humour and style.

The Mopeds were formed in 1994 back when the three members, brothers Jens and Petter Lindgård and David Carlsson, all played in the Malmö band Astroturf. When they had band practice, the others always showed up late, and so the guys began to play on the instruments available in the room. The result turned out great and The Mopeds was formed.

These three fine gentlemen also run one of the original famous Tambourine Studios in Malmö: Gula Studion.
