Collection: Late Runner

Late Runner is Asger Tarpgaard and Tanja Forsberg Simonsen, who (together with superheroes and Thomas Troelsen) helped define Danish indie pop as teenagers at the turn of the millenium.

Since their time in superheroes, Asger and Tanja have been a part of Private, and Lightwave Empire (Asger) and ONBC (Tanja) among others. Late Runner was originally Asger Tarpgaard's solo project, but Tanja joined the live line-up and the two of them experimented with stripped down setups that became the blueprint for the duo. Late Runner as a duo is a welcome return from the two of them, lending each other's voices and songwriting sensibilities to new synth-tinged music.
