Collection: I Am Bones

Relentlessly heavy, heartbreakingly melodic and irresistibly catchy music from songwriter Johannes Gammelby, one of the finest alternative songwriters in his native Denmark, with drummer Jeppe Lindgren, bassist Christian Winther and guitarist Claus Søgaard Andersen.

Inspired by 90’s grunge, sludge and lo-fi, I am Bones released two critically acclaimed albums through Morningside Records in the early 00's. Years of silence ensued, though frontman Johannes Gammelby kept busy (and really not at all silent) with both Beta Satan and The Malpractice. After a decade of making noise elsewhere, I am Bones didn’t live up to their name and re-emerged, re-animated with new music on Crunchy Frog Recordings in 2016.

Their new EP, Conjunctivitis, is out in August 2024.
